plasma-active-dev software package provides development files for Plasma Active, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install plasma-active-dev
plasma-active-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the plasma-active-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep plasma-active-dev *
You will get with plasma-active-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
